International Eyewear to release new designs in Episode brand

International Eyewear's 'Episode' brand campaignInternational Eyewear is launching 30 new styles in its Episode brand at Optrafair (9–11 April, Birmingham NEC).

Two highlighted frames in the new collection are Episode 210 and Episode 211 (pictured) for women. Episode 210 is a full rim style that is available in two of 2016’s fashionable colours – deep oxide red and spiced brown. The colours offer a nostalgic nod to the 1970s era, set to be a top trend for the rest of the year, according to the company.

The new 210 frame features a minimalistic eye front, combined with sides made from handmade Italian acetate. The delicate line of embedded Swarovski crystals and the lace print on the sides take inspiration from catwalk trends.

The Episode 211 acetate frame has a distinctive large eye shape, which is accented by a single metal rose trim on the sides.

The new style also has a slightly retro theme, due to the use of mottled colour tones. It is available in classic tortoiseshell, mixed with purple-laminated sides. It is also offered in ‘petrol,’ with turquoise-laminated sides, which is expected by International Eyewear to be popular in 2016, due to the trend for blue this season.
