New 2016 optical collection showcased at 100% Optical

Concept Eyewear relaunches Jai Kudo eyewear

Concept Eyewear has relaunched its Jai Kudo brand “due to popular demand.” The 2016 spring/summer optical collection was showcased at this year’s 100% Optical trade show (6–8 February, ExCeL London).

Handmade lamination is a strong feature of the new collection, offering a selection of colour and textural contrasts. The ‘Fact’ and ‘Curiosity’ frames are examples of this and feature a matt, etched top brow and a shiny bottom rim.

The ‘Fact’ model for women is available in the colours ‘shell,’ purple and black and ‘Curiosity’ for men is in grey, black and tortoiseshell.

The ‘Brilliance’ frame for women also highlights the lamination effect with a delicately patterned top brow contrasting against a transparent single colour on the bottom rim. The new style is available in three colours: ‘blue feather,’ ‘bronze feather’ and ‘pink feather.’

Jai Kudo has also added the petite frame, ‘Calm’ (pictured), into its range, which has been specifically designed for the smaller face.

Frame profiles are generally slimline in keeping with current optical trends, and flex hinges have been used throughout the range for added comfort.
