Annual sun brochure with discounts available to independents ‘ahead of the winter sun sales rush’

Dunelm Optical is launching 50 new sunglasses

Dunelm Optical is launching over 50 new sunglasses in its annual sun brochure, which is available to practitioners next week “ahead of the winter sun sales rush.”

Dunelm Optical managing director, Peter Beaumont, explained: “Making the annual sun brochure available ahead of the New Year again will give opticians more time to order the right stock for what is set to be another busy sun season. Opticians can also redeem a special discounted rate by placing orders before March.”

Mr Beaumont added: “We’ve made our sun frames more affordable than ever, offering a lower price point than last year across the board. Significant cost savings are available when ordering all in glazed to prescription.”

The new 78-page brochure features the designers Paul Costelloe and Janet Reger, as well as Celine Dion, Julian Beaumont, Retro, Sunset, Sunset+ and Whiz Kids. It spans a wide range of new styles and the latest influences in sunglasses design as well as practitioners’ “old favourites.”

All the sun styles are in glazed to prescription from Dunelm’s in-house, state-of-the-art lens laboratory.

Paul Costelloe has launched a new 10-piece sunglasses collection, while Janet Reger’s eight new styles closely match her new optical collection.

Celine Dion sticks to her trademark glamour theme, while Julian Beaumont keeps it classic and Retro experiments with more trend-led styles aimed at the younger wearer.

The spotlight range in Dunelm’s own family of brands is Sunset+, a fashionable, affordable collection which features four new styles. WhizKids takes its inspiration from adult sun trends and crossovers from its popular optical range, with nine new sunglass styles for children.
