Eyespace expands into larger premises

British frames company Eyespace has celebrated its second birthday by moving into “state-of-the-art” premises following a hugely successful 24 months since the company launched.

Speaking about the expansion into the new plant in Worcestershire, joint managing directors, Jayne and Julie Abel, said: “We outgrew our previous building much quicker than we had originally anticipated. After rapid expansion, we have found premises that will allow the growth we are now forecasting.”

They added: “After only two years in establishment, we are humbled by the support, loyalty and positive feedback that we have received from all areas of the industry, even from some of our competitors. We would like to thank all of our customers for their endless support as we expand further.”

The new offices are located in Stoke Prior, Worcestershire and accommodate the whole Eyespace team, which currently stands at 29 members of staff.

Explaining the benefits of the new premises, Julie Abel added: “The new open plan premises provide opportunities for growth, with an in-house design studio to benefit future product development. Having such a state-of-the-art facility allows us to bring customers more new products and collections, whilst also keeping the needs of opticians close to home.

“Larger warehouse facilities will also allow stock holdings to expand and offer even greater availability for immediate order dispatch. Orders will be managed even more efficiently and effectively, with full preparation being placed on demand.”

The company is now working on the launch of its first sunglasses collection in its Cocoa Mint collection.
