Tailored with men in mind

Norville has launched six new ophthalmic styles in its men’s fashion brand Cecil Gee. All the new frames are available in two colours and two eye sizes.

The new releases include traditional and modern design elements, with statement detailing throughout the range, including double bars and cut out sides.

Norville Group sales director, Mark Truss, told OT: “Cecil Gee, the classic British tailor, has increased its range of optical frames with new metal and acetate combinations. Classic, with a wide appeal, they are designed to offer a true fashion iconic product at an exceptional price.”

There are two new full rim flat press metal frames, ‘CG-026’ and ‘CG-027’ which are offered in a choice of size options, with both 53 and 55 eye size available.

‘CG-026’ is offered in gun and black contrast, as well as brown and black contrast. It features spring hinges, with cut out details and contrast colouring on the sides along with raised branding.

‘CG-027’ is available in gunmetal grey with blue contrast colours, as well as black with orange. It also features cut out details on the sides but with a colour contrast inlay and discreet inner branding on the sides.

‘CG-029’ (pictured) is a full rim acetate frame offered in tortoiseshell and black, with two size options, a 54 and 56 eye. Tapered spring hinges are featured in the new frame along with shallow cut away detailing which balances the fine twin lines of metal on the joint. Discreet outer branding on the sides carries the famous Cecil Gee signature.

‘CG-028’ is a metal and acetate supra combination, available with a gunmetal grey front and black acetate sides, plus a black metal front with green horn aides. It has tapered details on the sides, with a metal T bar carrying the brand logo. The new frame is available in two sizes, a 53 and 55 eye.

‘CG-30’ is a full rim metal aviator offered in solid black, as well as brown with gun temples. The model has two sizes available, a 57 and a 59 eye. It has double bar cut out details and a soft curve. Signature branding appears on the sides.

A full rim metal and acetate sides aviator is style ‘CG-31’ which is offered in gold with tortoiseshell sides, as well as solid black, with the signature Cecil Gee branding on the sides. The new style offers the large size options of a 56 and 58 eye.
