Penning an early renewal of luxury eyewear agreement

Marcolin Group and Montblanc International have renewed a licence agreement for Montblanc sun and optical eyewear

Eyewear company the Marcolin Group and Montblanc International have announced the early renewal of an exclusive licence agreement for the design, manufacture and worldwide distribution of Montblanc sun and optical eyewear.

The partnership between the two companies began in 2001 and illustrates an “on-going mutual commitment to the pursuit of excellence based on creativity, craftsmanship and innovation.” The new agreement extends the current partnership duration.

Chief executive of the Marcolin Group, Giovanni Zoppas, said: “Montblanc is a worldwide and prestigious brand in the luxury market, consistent with the history and the attitude that has always distinguished our company. Renewing the licensing agreement between Marcolin and Montblanc is very rewarding to us.”

Chief executive of Montblanc International, Jérôme Lambert, added: “Marcolin has been a great partner and we are excited to announce the renewal of our co-operation. We look forward to working with them to introduce new designs and further grow our business in this important category.”
