Zoobug launches new sunglasses for girls

Butterfly flies into 2015 collection

Children’s eyewear specialist Zoobug has launched the latest addition in its 2015 sunglasses collection.

‘Butterfly’ is described as a sophisticated fashion shape for girls, handcrafted in acetate. The new style is available in five fashionable colours including new mint (pictured) royal blue and purple. The latest addition is also available in pink and ‘black scribble.’

Design touches introduced for trendsetting children this year include flash mirror lenses, Italian striped acetates, classical tortoiseshell, wood grain effects, and neon bright colours.

Zoobug sunglass shapes which have proved popular in the past, such as the ‘Daisy’ and circular ‘Sunny,’ have been given a plush makeover and the ‘Aviator’ makes a return in fresh Mediterranean-inspired tones, or trendy patterns.

New shapes include a traditional square and a sleek cat’s eye. An elegant, super narrow minimal modified ‘Butterfly’ has also been introduced and is expected by the company to be a future bestseller for young girls.

The new styles come with a new foldable orange canvas case with sandy inner flock lining and a Zoobug logo printed cleaning cloth.

All Zoobug lenses are polarised, or UV400 and selected especially for children's eyes.

The company was founded in 2006 by ophthalmologist, Dr Julie Diem Le, and now produces a wide selection of sunglass ranges for children up to 12-years-old, as well as high-quality optical collections.
