Luxury eyewear licence extended
Salvatore Ferragamo signs up with Marchon until 2021
21 April 2015
The licensing agreement, for branded sunglasses and optical frames for men and women, first went into operation on 1 January 2012, and will now run until December 2021.
President and CEO of Marchon Eyewear, Claudio Gottardi, said: “Our partnership with Salvatore Ferragamo is a source of great pride and satisfaction for us. The task of interpreting the brand’s history, heritage and integrity is a constant challenge, one that spurs us on to create top-quality glasses capable of combining style with refinement.”
CEO of the Ferragamo Group, Michele Norsa, added: “The increase in volume registered in the last three years, which has averaged at just below 30% per annum, is confirmation of the incredible value of our partnership with Marchon.”
Mr Norsa added: “Their design expertise, combined with the top quality, cutting-edge nature of their product, has had an invaluable contribution to the Ferragamo branded line. As a result, we’re confident that we’ll see more growth in the medium term.”
Produced exclusively in Italy, the eyewear collections are distributed all over the world in Salvatore Ferragamo boutiques and in leading stores and specialist optical practices.
