Continental Eyewear to celebrate Optrafair orders with prize draw
24 March 2015
Development work at the UK eyewear company over the last 12 months will come to fruition at the Birmingham NEC show (18–20 April), with new releases in each of the company’s seven collections.
Continental Eyewear is expecting “considerable excitement” surrounding the new X-eyes frames. There will be 10 new styles launched, each available in three colours; lime green, orange or red. A new brochure illustrating the full range will be available at the show.
The iconic British fashion name, Jaeger, will be prominently displayed at the event. New pure titanium designs, the 2015 sunglass collection and some Jaeger fashion accessories will have pride of place in the centre of the stand with seating ‘to rest those tired feet.
The Lazer Junior collection, a comprehensive collection of value-for-money children’s frames, will feature six new models. A trend towards colourful frames for children is evident in the new releases. The majority are in plastic, both acetate and the TR90 material, which is what the children are seeking, according to the company.
Continental Eyewear’s sales and marketing director, Neal Grimason, said: “We pride ourselves in being able to satisfy most dispensing requirements with our comprehensive collection. Perhaps you are looking for classic women’s plastics or frames for teenagers, or men’s frames with a comfort bridge. No matter what you are looking for, we probably have it. Our stand is open and inviting, with our complete range on display.”
Mr Grimason added: “In the centre of the stand, will be the ‘Wheel Deal.’ Once a practitioner has placed an order, they can spin the wheel and are guaranteed to walk away with a prize. And perhaps, if their luck is in, they could walk away with their order being supplied free of charge.”
Continental Eyewear will be on stand K40 at Optrafair. For more information, visit the Continental Eyewear website.
