Positive Impact appoints three new directors
The company’s founders also moved roles following the expansion of the company

Positive Impact has seen a change in its leadership, with the company founders stepping into new roles and three new directors being appointed.
The restructure follows the expansion of the optical supplier in recent years, and the widening of its product portfolio.
Positive Impact’s managing director, Maxine Green, will become sales and operations director, and Nick Atkins will move into the managing director position.
Phil Thompson, professional services lead, becomes professional services director, and business development manager, Tony Whyatt, will be made commercial director.
Finance manager, Chris Amor, has been appointed finance director.
Commenting on the appointments, Atkins said: “Phil and Tony have become an integral and essential part of the business crucial to our future plans. Becoming directors in recognition of their loyalty ensures their ongoing commitment to the company, while enabling them to share in the future success of the business.”
Positive Impact began a redevelopment in 2013 with the addition of the lens cleaner initiative, Glaskar, followed by its first step into the dry eye field in 2015 and the addition of SynergEyes – its entry into the contact lens market.
In 2019, the company introduced NaturalVue 1-Day Multifocal from Visioneering Technologies.
