Positive Impact has signed a new distribution deal with Eye Doctor to become the exclusive distributor for its range of products.
The distribution deal includes Eye Doctor’s moist heat, antibacterial, hot compresses.
The new agreement supports Positive Impact’s aims of building a “best in class” dry eye product portfolio, which includes patented lubricants, lid care and unique nutraceuticals, explained managing director, Maxine Green, adding that the deal fulfils “one obvious omission – a hot compress.”
Eye Doctor’s Premium Hot & Cold Antimicrobial Eye Compress is designed to help relieve symptoms of a variety of eye conditions, and features Sterileyes antibacterial protection as well as BodyBeads self-hydrating technology. The product is reusable (up to 365 times), featuring a removable washable cover, and adjustable strap.
Calling the partnership with Eye Doctor a “no-brainer” for Positive Impact, Ms Green continued: “In the current climate, promoting a compress that utilises a unique antimicrobial material that is also washable, is of particular benefit to our customers and their patients. It is also great to be supporting a fellow UK-based independent business and, importantly, a UK-based manufacturer.”
Founder and managing director of Eye Doctor, Sue Grant, commented on the agreement: “I’ve witnessed the development of the Positive Impact dry eye portfolio with much interest and have been impressed with the company’s professional approach, and obvious knowledge of the dry eye market – particularly the independent optometric sector.”
Eye Doctor aims to expand in this sector, Ms Grant explained, adding that a partnership with Positive Impact, “could help us to quickly increase our distribution.”
