Louis Stone has visited Cardiff University’s optometry department to recognise the achievements of three optometry undergraduates.
During the trip, managing director of Louis Stone, Paul Gaba, presented Samrath Hans with a certificate for ‘Preliminary Year Best Performance 2018–2019’ and Lewis Jones with a certificate for ‘Best Performance in Year 1 2018—2019.’
Student Scott Cox also received a certificate for ‘Best Performance in Year 2 2018—2019.’ Mr Cox is pictured with Mr Gaba and Professor John Wild.
In addition to the certificate acknowledging their successes, each student received a £50 gift voucher, as well as a mug and a pen from Louis Stone.
Demonstrating Louis Stone’s support for the wider optometry student cohort, the company recently sponsored Cardiff OpSoc Netball team, providing the team with its kit. The netball group’s A team recently played a match against Cardiff’s Met A team, winning 11–9.
