OrCam’s wearable artificial vision technology has been shortlisted at the Financial Times and International Finance Corporation Transformation Business Awards 2019.
OrCam has been shortlisted in the Special Award: Innovating for Disability category at the awards, which recognise innovative, private-sector solutions to major development challenges.
The accolade is new for the 2019 awards, which are in their sixth year, and has been developed in partnership with the UK Department for International Development.
The category showcases solutions that “harness the power of innovation and technology” to ensure inclusion among people with disabilities.
OrCam has previously been named as a Red Herring Top 100 Europe award winner and won the Last Gadget Standing competition at the Consumer Technology Association conference 2018.
