TearLab partners with Positive Impact
The companies will develop TearLab’s dry eye technology in the UK and Ireland
Diagnostic equipment company TearLab has appointed Positive Impact as its commercial partner for the development of its technology in the UK and Ireland.
TearLab’s Osmolarity System allows clinicians to measure the osmolarity of human tears, helping to diagnose and manage patients suspected of having dry eye disease.
Director of marketing and professional services at Positive Impact, Nick Atkins, said: “This technology dovetails perfectly with our growing portfolio of best-in-class dry eye diagnostic and treatment products.”
TearLab’s executive vice president, Paul Smith, added: “Positive Impact’s deep experience in clinical education makes it an ideally suited partner to support and continue developing the UK and Ireland markets for both existing TearLab users and new clinicians alike.”
