Ocuco has been named as one of Ireland’s best managed companies at the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards for the second time.
The awards ceremony took place in Dublin last month (1 March) and recognised the business performance of 12 companies, who join a network of 136 companies.
The network of best managed companies has total revenues of €11bn (£9.3bn) for the year with export sales of €3bn (£2.5bn) and total employment of 44,000 people.
CEO of Ocuco, Leo MacCanna, said: “The Best Managed Companies is an excellent opportunity to continuously audit, examine and test our strategy, management systems and team within a formal framework provided by Deloitte. I have to give all of the credit yet again to our management team for entering and running this process successfully from start to finish.”
