Grafton Optical launches Cell V100

The equipment company’s new handheld vision screener is designed for use on children

Grafton Cell V100
Grafton Optical launches Cell V100 Optical has launched the Cell V100 handheld vision screener.

The equipment company explained that the device is designed for use on children and at mass screening events.

It is a portable diagnostic device designed to allow clinicians to quickly detect vision abnormalities on patients from six-month olds to adults.

It can screen both eyes at once from one metre away. Once the pupils are in focus, the device will start to calculate automatically and deliver results within one second.

Results data is automatically and wirelessly transferred to the user’s computer. Other features include a flip screen for easy use with young patients and sound effects to capture the attention of children.
