Zeiss app recognised for innovative design
The company’s My Vision Profile app has won an award for providing an interactive user experience
04 December 2018
Zeiss has won a German Design Award in the interactive user experience category and received a special mention from judges for its My Vision Profile app.
The awards, which are run by the German Design Council, recognise innovative design, with a ceremony taking place in February in Frankfurt.
Marketing director of Zeiss Vision Care UK and Ireland, Lindsay Filmer, said: “Our app is a powerful acquisition tool for any practitioner to use on their own website to drive new patients into their practice. My Vision Profile also empowers new and existing patients, helping them to understand more about their own visual needs based on their individual lifestyle.”
The app for patients features a questionnaire based on work and daily life, digital life, general questions and mobility to create an understanding of the user’s visual needs.
Users receive personalised recommendations that have been tailored to their individual needs, so that they can then visit their practitioner to discuss the results and choose the most suitable Zeiss lenses.
