The Eyestar 900 will be available to purchase at the end of 2018

Haag Streit UK has unveiled the Eyestar 900, a new swept source-based optical coherence tomography device.

The Eyestar 900 provides elevation-based topography maps of the front and back corneal surface, 2D and 3D images of the anterior segment, as well as biometry of the entire eye.

Not available for purchase in the UK till the end of the year, the device is designed for refractive, cataract and glaucoma surgeons.

Revealed at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists’ annual congress 2018 (21–24 May) at the AAC in Liverpool, Haag Streit UK explained that the device was “exceptionally well received.”

Marketing manager at Haag Streit, Sharon Mills, said: “The congress is always an important event in our calendar, as it enables us to interact with our valued customers.”
