The Norville Group has launched the VX36 Lensmeter, which enables practitioners to perform lens measurements.
A touchscreen LCD display enables the device user to carry out measurements simply and easily, according to the company.
The device can measure uncut single lenses and glazed spectacles, as well as contact lenses. It also displays PD and PH measurements.
As well as measuring, the VX36 Lensmeter provides an optical centre marketing function and automatic detection of multi-focal lenses.
National sales manager at Norville, Owen Tabley-Barke, said: “This new generation of lensmeter allows the measure of the rate of transmission of the blue light and offers an intuitive user interface to enable the user to perform lens measurements simply and easily.”
