The new Ocuco app provides a “boutique-style retail experience”

Ocuco has launched a new iPad app that enables practice support staff to better engage with patients through the retail element of their visit.

The Acuitas app provides a “boutique-style retail experience” at check-in, dispensing, payment and collection, according to the software company.

Ocuco explained that the app eradicates the need to revert to a desktop computer by enabling staff to guide patients through the retail journey from the shop floor.

Sales manager at Ocuco, Fergus Murphy, said: “The Acuitas iPad App changes the patient perception when visiting an optical practice, with far greater emphasis on an excellent retail experience. It gives staff access to software functions on the shop floor instead of from behind a desk.”
