Haag Streit glaucoma symposium

Haag Streit UK has opened online booking for the HS-UK Glaucoma Symposium 2018, which will be held at Radisson Blue Hotel, London Stansted Airport on 22 June.

The one-day event will include lectures and workshops on topics such as, visual fields in glaucoma and fundus related perimetry in glaucoma.

Clinical education and training manager at Haag Streit UK, Grant Duncan, said: “The symposium’s primary educational objective is to encourage learning through discussion and practical hands-on experience.

“We have secured an impressive faculty and the symposium will provide a great opportunity for glaucoma specialists to learn from experts in the field and an excellent forum to enable the exchange of ideas with their peers.”

It will be chaired by professor of ophthalmology at Anglia Ruskin University, Professor Rupert Bourne, and the keynote lecture will be delivered by reader in ophthalmology at University College London’s Institute of Ophthalmology, Gus Gazzard.

Other speakers include Professor Paul Artes from Plymouth University, Rebecca Turner from Oxford Eye Hospital and Dr Rizwana Siddiqi from Boomo Medical.
