Heidelberg Engineering has expanded its sales team in response to growing demand for the company’s eye scanning technology.

Newly promoted to head of sales for northern Europe at Heidelberg Engineering, Tosh Vadhia, explained that the expanded team strengthens the company’s position as providers of gold standard care.

“Our technology is playing an increasingly vital role in eye care and we have many reference sites where practices are working in co-operation with local hospitals. We are well placed to guide practitioners to the route that works best for them as clinicians and businesses,” he said.

New appointments include Jake Tranter, who joins the company from Boots Opticians as accounts manager for optometry in the north, and Jason McLean returns to Heidelberg as accounts manager for optometry in the south.

They will join Kenny Boyle, key accounts manager for ophthalmology; Mike Riley, key accounts manager for optometry; Nathan Odell, sales manager for the south west; and Nick Timms, accounts manager for optometry in Scotland and the Republic of Ireland.
