Mainline Instruments has appointed managing director Simon Hawkins’ son, Jack Hawkins, to its sales and marketing team.
Jack joins the team with the aim to improve the company’s website design, user experience and analytics capability.
Speaking about his appointment, Jack said: “Although having worked in similar insights and analytics roles before, the optical sector is a completely new industry for me and my skill set, but it’s one that I have a passion for after always being interested in the industry because of my dad.”
He added that it will be a steep learning curve, but is looking forward to learning about the optometry and ophthalmology industries.
His father, Simon Hawkins, said: ‘’I know Jack will bring a youthful energy to the team and a fresh approach to our current marketing mix and how we tackle challenges that the new year will bring.’’
