Zeiss appointment

Zeiss Meditec UK has announced the appointed of Darren Hargreaves (pictured) as clinical applications specialist.

Mr Hargreaves joins the equipment business with more than 20 years’ experience as an ophthalmic imager.

The company said that it has created the role to support its growing portfolio of advanced ophthalmic imaging equipment. 

Zeiss business manager for ophthalmic diagnostics, Claire Martin, said: “It’s a great pleasure to welcome Darren to the Zeiss team, supporting our expanding range of ophthalmic diagnostic technology. He will be able to offer invaluable insights to our customers from a clinical perspective.”

Mr Hargreaves added: “I hope to be able to bring a new dimension to the Zeiss clinical team, drawing onto personal experiences of working with ophthalmic imaging equipment.”
