Zeiss’ education programme to feature OCT sessions
Zeiss Academy will cover topics such as OCT acquisition, analysis and interpretation at three one-day education events
18 July 2017
The education arm of equipment manufacturer Zeiss has announced its education programme for the second half of the year, which includes three one-day events in October.
Zeiss Academy will cover topics including optical coherence tomography (OCT), fundus imaging and optical biometry. CET points are available at each of the events, which take place from 3–5 October.
All three courses will be held at the new Zeiss Vision Institute in Birmingham, which was built specifically for educational courses to provide the best possible learning experience.
Head of training and clinical support at the Zeiss Academy, Lyn Millbank, will lead the courses. The orthoptist has worked in ophthalmic departments in New Zealand, Nepal and the UK, and she now manages the clinic training team at Zeiss.
Attendance is charged from £125 per person, which includes all course materials, lunch and refreshments.
Places can be booked on the Zeiss website.
