The Heidelberg Engineering Academy has confirmed the keynote speakers for its sixth Annual Retina Masterclass.
The event will be on Wednesday 24 May from 5.30-8.30pm at Liverpool’s Royal Liver Building, a few minutes’ walk from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists Annual Congress at the ACC.
The speakers for this year’s Masterclass are Professor Usha Chakravarthy of Queens University Belfast, alongside Dr Roberto Gallego-Pinazo of University and Polytechnic Hospital La Fe of Valencia, Spain and the faculty chairman of Moorfields Eye Hospital, Pearse Keane.
Mr Keane said: “This year’s Masterclass will look at non-invasive vascular imaging methodologies, including the role of OCT angiography and MultiColor imaging in the clinical decision-making process.”
He added: “This will include a discussion on the extent to which these techniques will replace or complement fluorescein and ICG angiography.”
