The education arm of equipment manufacturer Zeiss has announced details of its 2017 education programme.

The Zeiss Academy will host six one-day events between May and October this year covering topics such as optical coherence tomography (OCT), fundus imaging, analysis and optical biometry.

Three of the six courses have gained CET accreditation for between six and eight CET points.

All events will be held at the company’s new Zeiss Vision Institute in central Birmingham and led by Zeiss’ head of training and clinical support, Lyn Millbank.

Speaking about the programme Zeiss said it was “proud to be able to host these education events as part of our ongoing commitment to education, advancing users’ knowledge and optimising patient outcomes.”
