Expanding practice software company Xeyex celebrating its fifth anniversary
Scottish firm launches new features for practitioners following move into larger premises
23 January 2016
The cloud-based practice software company Xeyex is celebrating the start of its fifth year of business this month.
The company revealed many new features to its practice management system at the Eyecare conference in Glasgow (17–18 January) and has recently completed a move into a new 1000sq ft office in Lesmahagow, South Lanarkshire, Scotland, having outgrown its original start-up facilities.
New software features for 2016 are real time appointment bookings from an opticians website, as well as a key performance indicator and analytic dashboard which gives an overview of practice performance.
The company is launching integrated direct debit functionality for setting up a direct debit from within the patient record.
A marketing campaign builder will be added for the creation of specific and targeted marketing using combinations of email, text messages and printed postcards or letters.
Xeyex company founder and director, Grant Cardwell, told OT: “The Xeyex team is very experienced in highly scalable cloud-based software applications and it will be no surprise that development of the system is heavily shaped by the 250+ users who login daily. Being very responsive to its user base, the latest features have come from feedback.”
