An area sales manager at optical equipment manufacturer Topcon has climbed four peaks in Bolivia to raise funds for charity.

The money raised by Luke Wyndham scaling Point Austria, Pequeno Alpamayo, Hyauna Potosi and Ilimani will be donated to Optometry Giving Sight (OGS) and Vision Aid Overseas (VAO).

Mr Wyndham completed the 22-day challenge last month, raising more than £2,000 for the causes.

Speaking about the challenge, Mr Wyndham said: "Even after months and months of training and preparation, I did find the whole experience quite difficult. The level of endurance was challenging and I felt ready to give up on many occasions...however, once you get to the top, it's a great feeling."
