EnergEyes supplement is launched

New MacuShield tablets targeted at drivers, sportspeople and computer users

The maker of well-known eye health supplement, MacuShield has introduced a new product to its portfolio, EnergEyes which has been created to help reduce fatigue and maintain visual performance under challenging light conditions.

The new supplement is specifically aimed at computer users, drivers and sportspeople. It includes vitamin B12 to help reduce fatigue and riboflavin to help maintain visual performance. 

MacuShield is derived from the marigold flower and has been tested at research institutes. The food supplement contains lutein, zeaxanthin and meso-zeaxanthin and is available from Bondeye Optical.

The range consists of the original MacuShield, MacuShield Vegetarian and MacuShield Gold, which has a formulation recommended in the second Age Related Eye Disease Study (AREDS2).

All the products feature the Informed-Sport logo showing they have been tested for banned substances by the world class sports anti-doping laboratory.
