Ocuco launches Web Diary 3

Online tool for independents to offer 24-hour appointment booking

Ocuco launches Web Diary 3
Ocuco has launched its Web Diary Version 3 which is a new generation online diary specifically designed to integrate into independent practices’ existing websites and connect directly to their practice diary.

It is also available as a component of an OptiCommerce website, should the practice want to offer its services on the web.

The Web Diary service has been created to enable independents to offer their patients and prospective patients the ability to book appointments, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from home or on the move with a mobile device. They can view and book appointments online with the calendar.

The Web Diary integrates with Acuitas, FOCUS 2 and See20/20 practice management systems (PMS).

Ocuco e-commerce director, Andy Chance-Hill, said: “We are very excited about the latest version of Web Diary. It’s easy to install on any existing practice website, easily configurable through the control panel, multilingual, secure and integrates with multiple PMS solutions.”

Mr Chance-Hill added: “It’s one more component in the range of services Ocuco has created that allows independent opticians to provide an omni-channel service for their existing and prospective patients, and compete with the large multiple and online retailers.”
