Heidelberg Engineering UK is planning to run some CET courses for independent practitioners across the country which will be free to attend.
Locations and dates are still being finalised but the events for optometrists and dispensing opticians will be run via the Heidelberg Academy. They will feature live optical coherence tomography (OCT) scanning demonstrations, combined with OCT and fundus image interpretation.
The courses will be held in conjunction with local optical committees (LOCs).
Heidelberg Engineering marketing and communications manager, Emily Malbon, told OT: “We would like to encourage any local optical committees who would like to get involved and have us run an event in their area to contact us, and anybody who wishes to attend one of these events should register for our newsletter.”
