No7 hosted an evening event with cocktails in Kensington, London to showcase its latest contact lens, the Elements Hybrid, to High Street and hospital optometrists.
The designer of Elements Hybrid and CEO of LCS in France, Emmanuel Veillard (pictured), demonstrated how the contact lens’ design attributes help achieve the best fit.
When speaking about the lens, professional services manager at No7, Ian Sexton, said: “The ability to change the angle of the skirt so easily in the lens design can bring immediate success if comfort is an issue. Achieving the visual acuity of a rigid lens and the comfort of a soft lens, this also brings excellent centration, banishing toric lens rotation.”
The lens is made from Contamac material and features Mr Veillard’s patented polymerisation process of bonding the RGP and soft silicone hydrogel peripheral skirt.
