The contact lens company revealed that 100% of attendees said that the event “met or exceeded” expectations

SynergEyes UK has shared the results of a survey that was carried out at each of its seven roadshow events, which took place across the UK from 12 September–12 October.

The events attracted 160 practitioners as the company promoted its Hybrid contact lenses and celebrated the launch of its Duette range with fitting demonstrations.

A one-hour CET lecture from former president of the British Contact Lens Association, Nick Atkins, also formed part of the event.

SynergEyes reported that 100% of attendees said that the events met or exceeded their expectations, with 96% rating the knowledge of the tutors as “very good” or “excellent.”

The feedback showed that 83% of delegates saw the clinical development opportunity of hybrid contact lenses, with 75% of attendees confident that they could fit patients with the product following the roadshow.

The survey revealed that almost three-quarters of attendees said they were planning to introduce Hybrid contact lenses.

Vice president of international business at SynergEyes, Tina Sharp, said: “Duette and Duette Progressive provide regular High Street fitters with another option to improve the visual performance of their astigmatic patients and so the response to these roadshows from practitioners is particularly pleasing.”
