Alcon to host presbyopia education days

The manufacturer will host three CET events at its Surrey facility

Alcon is hosting three education days focused on presbyopia at the Alcon Academy for Eyecare Excellence.

The events offer attendees the opportunity to earn eight interactive CET Points, with two morning lectures and skills workshops in the afternoon.

The morning lectures include Presbyopia – what can we do? which explores the vision care options available to presbyopes. The second lecture, The ageing eye and the patient journey, will explore how the psychological and pathological ageing of the ocular impact the patient.

Afternoon workshops include, Getting inside cataract surgery, which will enable attendees to consider their patient-centred communication on cataract discussion, referral and treatment options.

Alcon’s Presybyopia Days takes place 18 October, 21 November and 23 November at the academy, which is based in Watchmoor Park in Camberley, Surrey.
