Making contact lenses “fun”

“Bring fun into your patient’s lives.” That is the message from contact lens specialist, UltraVision, which will be at the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) Clinical Conference and Exhibition at the ACC, Liverpool (9–11 June) to present its new monthly disposable contact lens, Avanti.

Available in a wide parameter range, the product is designed to offer the convenience of a monthly with the flexibility of a custom-made product, and “ensures patients never miss the action,” the company explained.

“Avanti’s thin design and silicon hydrogel material allows for longer wear times, while freeform stabilisation utilises ‘peripheral balancing zone’ to ensure rapid settling speeds, usually within 20 seconds. This provides stable vision through gaze excursions and assures excellent vision for all your patients throughout the day,” an UltraVision spokesperson told OT.

Avanti is available in centre near and centre distance designs, with additional options to optimise vision for the dominant eye.

UltraVision will appear in the conference Pavilion on 10 June to deliver a presentation on Avanti.
