04 February 2016
Free CET training days organised by No7 Contact Lenses are being held later this month to support practitioners with how to differentiate their practice through specialist contact lens fitting.
Both events will take place at the Contamac Training Centre in Saffron Walden, near Cambridge.
Managing patients with irregular corneas will be held on 15 February with three CET points available. The course aims to help practitioners gain knowledge and skill in assessing patients with corneal topography to assess and fit a wide range of contact lenses. Attendees will learn the attributes of fitting mini-scleral, hybrid, soft and RGP lenses to help build practice loyalty.
On 16 February is Ortho-k and myopia control, with four CET points available. The course aims to help practitioners introduce ortho-k to their practice, by gaining an understanding of corneal topography. No7 Contact Lenses highlights that the benefits of ortho-k are now being experienced by patients from eight-years-old to 80, “representing a modality that has great potential.”
Other UK-wide training events will be announced shortly. For more information, visit the company’s website.
