The Macular Society has announced that it will hold a second Professional Conference this November, following a successful launch event last year.
Themed Excellent Patient Support, the one day conference will be hosted at Resource for London on 28 November, and tickets are available now.
The event is open to all staff working within the eye care sector. It will share information on the latest macular treatments, best practice and patient experiment in the eye clinic, as well as depression and anxiety in sight loss, the charity confirmed.
Talks will be given by a number of well-known ophthalmologists and researchers, while an exhibition will also feature at the event.
Speaking about the charity's decision to host the event this year, chief executive of the Macular Society, Cathy Yelf, said: “We held our first Professional Conference last year, which proved extremely popular, and we had lots of excellent feedback about the event.”
Tickets cost £45 and can be purchased via the Macular Society's website.
