Essilor joins forces with OGS at ABDO conference

Optometry Giving Sight (OGS), in partnership with Essilor, is offering practitioners attending the Association of British Dispensing Opticians conference this weekend the opportunity to win an Apple Watch Sport.

During the conference in Manchester (20–21 September), Essilor will host a stationary exercise bike on its stand, with practitioners encouraged to take the seat and pedal to raise funds as part of Optics Cycling for Sight.

The annual challenge, which is hosted as past of the World Sight Day Challenge, aims to see the profession collectively cycle 25,000 miles, raising £25,000 in the process.

For every £1.50 donation made on the stand, Essilor will match it. 

During the event’s gala dinner, delegates will have the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win an Apple Watch Sport, with all proceeds going to OGS and Vision Aid Overseas (VAO).
