Charity appoints deputy CEO
The Thomas Pocklington Trust appointed Keith Valentine as deputy chief executive

Keith Valentine has been named deputy chief executive of the Thomas Pocklington Trust.
Previously director of services at the charity, Mr Valentine will work alongside CEO Peter Corbett to focus on "placing the charity, its partnerships and initiatives at the heart of the vibrant and collaborative sight loss sector."
Mr Valentine is currently a trustee for Action for Blind People and recently joined the Vision 2020 UK technology for life committee.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Valentine said: "I am delighted to take up the role of deputy chief executive. Thomas Pocklington Trust is a fantastic organisation which does a huge amount to support blind and visually impaired people across the UK.
"I know first-hand the importance of ensuring the visually impaired community is empowered, supported and represented. I look forward to furthering our charitable goals and helping as many people as possible in the years ahead."
CEO of the Thomas Pocklington Trust, Mr Corbett, added: "Keith Valentine brings a wealth of experience, commitment and passion to his new role.
"Having proved an invaluable addition to the team over the last three years, I look forward to working with Keith even more closely in his new role as deputy chief executive."
