What are you most proud of?

Other than being involved in the groundbreaking technology, I think I would have to say bringing together over 1000 like-minded optical professionals in a Facebook group, where we can share ideas, information and stories as well as the unique challenges of working in the optical world.

How do you manage a work/life balance?

I don’t really have a problem with this. I guess I am lucky in that, unless we are at a show, I only work Monday to Friday. Eyoto, being a modern tech company, is good with using tech to work remotely. I usually commute by train so I can extend my working day by two hours so once home I tend to be able to switch off from work.

What do you do to unwind?

Amateur dramatics, film, PlayStation and family.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Don’t listen to those who say you can’t.

If you could switch career path, what would you choose to do?

I would work in theatre.

You have won the OT lottery. What are the first three things you would do with the £1m jackpot?

Pay off the mortgage, buy a Mustang and invest. Is this a real thing?

Do you have your next holiday booked?

Christmas in Disneyland and Universal Studios Florida.
