City optometry undergraduates celebrate with Eyeball

Optometry undergraduates
Optometry undergraduates from City, University of London have marked the end of the academic year with an Eyeball hosted at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in Kensington.

More than 115 students and staff attended the celebrations last month, with the evening including a three-course meal, awards and a dance.

A raffle was hosted on the evening, with student Michelle Wright winning an indirect slit lamp lens donated by Louis Stone. She said: “I am very excited about winning because it is an opportunity to learn to use this lens that I’ve never used before.”

The evening was organised by the university’s OpSoc Society which said it hoped to organise events for students in the future.
