13 April 2018
Louis Stone has recognised employee Alan Slocombe who recently retired as warehouse manager after 17 years with the optical supplier.
Mr Slocombe joined Louis Stone in 2001 having previously worked in logistics for Marks and Spencer for over 25 years.
Speaking about the warehouse manager, Louis Stone praised Mr Slocombe for being adept at doing “any task that was thrown at him.”
“Whether it be organising exhibition stands, proof-reading marketing literature, or answering technical questions from customers, nothing fazed him,” managing director of Louis Stone, Paul Gaba, said, adding: “If ever there was a solution needed for a problem, the shout would always go out for Alan.”
