Institute celebrates doctorates

Institute students complete PhDs

The Institute of Optometry has confirmed that two of its students have been awards doctorates. 

Dr Adrian Chorley completed a PhD in Ocular Exposure to Non-Ionising Radiation in Professional Pilots, and Dr Peter Campbell’s research was based on The Clinical Skills of Optometrists in Assessing the Anterior Chamber Angle. 

Dr Campbell is one of the first students to graduate from the Institute’s professional Dr Optometry programme, which it established in partnership with London South Bank University. 
 
Applications are currently being accepted for the September intake of the Institute’s Dr Optometry programme.
