A book for booking early for iDay 2016

The first 100 delegates to register for Independents Day (iDay) will receive a complimentary copy of the keynote speaker Clare Rayner’s book, The Retail Champion: 10 Steps to Retail Success.

The retail expert (pictured) will present at iDay 2016, which is themed, How to be a Retail Champion. This year, the event date has changed from July to Monday 7 November and it will follow the National Eyecare Group conference on Sunday 6 November.

Both events, and the two-day iShow exhibition, are being held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel.

Director of Proven Track Record (PTR), the iDay organiser, Nick Atkins, told OT: “Clare’s excellent book retails for £25 and I’m delighted that we have been able to offer early delegates a free copy.”

He added: “In line with the focus of this year’s event, the book enables retail business owners to develop robust and repeatable processes and systems to create profitable and ultimately saleable enterprises.”

“I’m sure it will prove to be a valuable and ongoing business companion for those quick off the mark,” he concluded.

Talking about the conference, PTR co-director, David Goad, said: “iDay has always tried to focus on how to achieve business success by offering simple, practical and often low-cost advice from experts in their field.
