Referrals: mending the broken link
In this CET Video, we look behind the curtain of secondary care to hear how referral letters are received and dealt with. We hear from an optometrist whose job it is to triage referrals, as well as from an ophthalmologist who is responsible for providing the right treatment in a timely manner with finite resources. They will discuss the content of a helpful and an unhelpful referral letter and how to build a better relationship between primary and secondary eye care
