Selina Powell is the features editor of Optometry Today (OT), where she writes in-depth features for the print journal and is responsible for the development of supplements in collaboration with commercial partners. Selina also covers eye health research for OT, keeping practitioners up to date with the latest developments through the Science & vision section of the website and the clinical round-up in print. She talks to optometrists about their pursuits outside of the testing room for OT’s regular Secret life article, while her My vision feature showcases the experiences of people with conditions that affect their sight.

Selina worked as a journalist for weekly and daily newspapers in New Zealand before moving to the UK in 2016.
