Selina Powell is assistant editor for Optometry Today (OT), where she writes in-depth features for the print journal and covers the latest innovations and research in eye health.

She talks to optometrists about their pursuits outside of the testing room for OT's regular Secret life article, while her My vision feature showcases the experiences of people with conditions that affect their sight.

Selina worked as a journalist for weekly and daily newspapers in New Zealand before moving to the UK in 2016.
