Starting your Newly-Qualified membership

If you would like to start your membership fee from 1 February 2019, the pro rated membership fee will be £336.42.

Paying for the Newly-Qualified membership fee

There are two ways to pay your Newly-Qualified membership fee:

  • Card payment – if you would like to pay the total fee by card please contact the membership team on 020 7549 2010 and we can take a secure credit or debit card payment

  • Direct Debit – Direct Debit payments can be set to collect in one lump sum, four quarterly payments or monthly from 1 March to 1 October 2019. All payment collections are on the first of the month. Please indicate your payment frequency on the mandate. If a Direct Debit mandate is submitted by 12 February, the first collection date will be 1 March 2019, which will be set to collect the fees owed from 1 January or 1 February depending on your start date. Once submitted a letter will be sent with your payment schedule for 2019

The AOP's membership runs from the start date selected to 31 December 2019 and a renewal notice will be sent by post in November 2019.
Once we have received a payment or Direct Debit manadate, the new grade will be reflected in your MyAOP account online. You can login to your MyAOP account to download your insurance certificate or receipt and update your personal and work details.

If you have any questions about the Newly-Qualifed grade, or how to pay, please contact the membership team.
