Our free membership is available from 6 October 2016 until 31 December 2016 only.

The offer is valid for GOC-registered optometrists and dispensing opticians only, students and those who practise overseas are not included within this offer.

It is only available for those paying by Direct Debit from a UK bank or building society. 

We reserve the right to exclude those who have redeemed free period offers in previous years.

Our free AOP membership offer is made to you by the Association of Optometrists (2 Woodbridge Street, London, EC1R 0DG) and entitles you to join the AOP for free from the period of 6 October until 31 December 2016. 

Your free trial will start as soon as your membership application has been processed and verified by our membership department.

Acceptance of application membership is subject to our standard membership terms and conditions.

By applying for our free membership trial and submitting your online application with your Direct Debit payment details you automatically accept our membership terms and conditions and consent to us using your payment details in accordance with our membership terms and conditions.  

We will begin to charge you the appropriate membership fee, as per our membership terms and conditions, from the end of your free trial period (31 December 2016) unless you cancel before the deadline date (midnight 8 December 2016). We will contact you with your membership payment schedule prior to midnight 8 December 2016 in accordance with our membership terms and conditions. 

If you decide that you do not want to be a paying member of the AOP, you can cancel your membership at any time before the free trial period deadline (midnight 8 December 2016) by emailing [email protected]. We will need to receive notice of your cancellation before the free trial period deadline (midnight 8 December 2016). To cancel as a paying member of the AOP, our membership terms and conditions will apply.

The free trial may not be used in conjunction with any other offers or promotions. Only new or lapsed pre-2016 members can take advantage of the free AOP membership offer. 

You may only use this offer once.

The AOP reserves the right to modify or withdraw this offer at any time at its absolute discretion without notice or liability. The AOP may also change these terms and conditions at anytime without notice or liability.
